Advanced screening and filtration

Above is the newest addition to our line and these pump screens are really a work of art. We immediately brought this line of screens into our arsenal when we examined them at a trade show  - -  we had never seen such quality.  We custom order them with all stainless steel hardware, and a special screen with hole sizes smaller than the typical hole size of the inadequate metal screens inside your submersible pump which average only 12 square inches of screening. No other company in central Texas even has a clue about the special option for the stainless hardware and the smaller screen hole size for this largest screen model made by this particular foundry which has over 700 square inches of screen area. Finally, we send them off to a company that specializes in treating the screen surfaces so that algae, scum, etc. have much less ability to grow on the screen and clog it up. We are really excited about this special treatment because we noticed that all screens placed underwater quickly became foiled with algae and slime growth, not just weeds and debri.

(no other pump companies give you this advantage with this custom special treatment).

Why do we recommend installing the largest screen ?

It's simple, the pressure / performance of your sprinklers will deteriorate rapidly as a small screen get's clogged. How often do you wish to pay your diver to go down and clean off a small pump screen that accumulates debri and clogs rapidly ?

Or even worse, without any screen, how often do you wish to pay your diver to go down to the lake bottom, retrieve the pump, bring it back to shore, disassemble it from the pump sleeve, clean out the internal screens, then dive the re-assembled pump back out into the lake ?

In about 95% of the cases where we are called out to lake pump systems installed

by others we discover either no "aftermarket" underwater pump screens on

the pump sleeve  - - or aftermarket pump screens way too small to do the job.

Consequently, we receive a lot of service calls for poor pump pressure on lake pump systems installed by others. Often we have to dive down to the lake bottom, discover there is no screen in place at all, retrieve the pump, bring it back to shore, disassemble it from the pump shroud, clean out the internal screens, then dive the re-assembled pump back out into the lake. The pump installer merely drilled some 1/2" holes in the PVC shroud. What do the pump screens look like when we disassemble the pump from the shroud and get down to the nitty gritty ?

You can barely make out two or three slots of the pump screens.

Below is what typically happens when a pump company

fails to put in place a proper aftermarket pump screen like we install

We are the only pump company in central Texas experienced with

customizing and installing these particular super pump screens

While our pump screen takes care of the largest debri, up on dry land this super canister filter above takes care of the finer particles. Years ago we

searched far and wide for the most reasonably priced, yet most effective filter to solve the constant debri problem posed by lake and river

water.  We installed and compared several brands, but none could match the outstanding performance and value of this one. These super

advanced canister filters above are typically installed after the pump, on or near dry land, and help keep your home water / irrigation

system filters free of lakewater debri. These filters have sturdy washable, reuseable filter elements. Imagine a "one stop"

cleaning point that requires about 5 to 10 minutes to clean this one filter rather than paying an irrigation

professional 8 hours labor to go through your entire property cleaning a hundred or more individual filters - -

one filter in each clogged sprinkler head (no wonder irrigation companies don't like this filter - -

it cuts down their service charges). These filters are the largest size we can obtain for a

reasonable price point. One of our competitors attempted to service our filter, screwed it

together wrong, obtained the wrong mesh filter element (there are several sizes and they

had no experience and didn't know which size performs best), and after constant problems

the new home owner finally found us and we got it right. We promote these larger

filters which have a much lower frequency of cleaning.  We custom fit them with

high quality, liquid filled pressure gauges and extra strength,

reinforced threaded couplings. These filters are pressure

rated to 150 psi.

In 99% of the cases we are called out to lake pump systems installed

by others we discover either no central filter  - - or a central filter

with the wrong type filter and way, way too small to do the job.

We are the only pump company in central Texas experienced with

customizing and installing these filters and our customers rave about them.
